Hurricane Melissa, one of the strongest storms to strike Jamaica in modern history, caused widespread devastation across the island, damaging homes, schools, hospitals, and essential infrastructure, and leaving many communities facing a long recovery.

All Hands & Hearts (UK) Trust has been supporting All Hands & Hearts' (AH&H) programme since the immediate aftermath. AH&H have been working alongside local partners to support both emergency response and ongoing recovery. As the programme has progressed, the focus has shifted to roof repairs, school recovery, cash voucher assistance for affected families, and training programmes to help communities rebuild safely and sustainably.
