Story
Hurricane Melissa, the strongest storm to strike Jamaica in modern history, tore across the island with winds reaching 185 mph, leaving behind shattered homes, flooded communities, and families cut off from communication and aid. Entire neighborhoods in central parishes were submerged, with floodwaters rising to the roofs of two-storey homes. Hospitals, schools, and small businesses, the lifelines of local communities, have been left severely damaged.
All Hands and Hearts (AH&H) has been on the ground since the storm made landfall, working hand-in-hand with local partners to deliver vital supplies and begin recovery efforts. The team has already distributed food, water, and hygiene kits to thousands of people in the hardest hit areas and is now supporting clean-up operations and preparing to launch a volunteer program to help families rebuild.
Please help support these ongoing efforts by donating any amount you can. Every contribution directly fuels relief operations, providing essential aid, comfort, and hope to families affected by Hurricane Melissa.
