All Hands and Hearts Trust
Hurricane Melissa was a catastrophic Category 5 hurricane that hit Jamaica on October 28, 2025, causing widespread devastation from winds of up to 185mph, torrential rainfall, and flooding. The storm resulted in significant damage to infrastructure, power outages, and shortages of food and water.
Over 120,000 buildings were damaged or destroyed, and widespread power outages left most of the island without electricity leaving thousands without homes and communities struggling to recover. Schools, churches and Hospitals have also been destroyed.
The island faces an estimated $7 billion rebuilding cost, and over 1.5 million people need urgent help to help rebuild their lives.
The charity chosen has been on the ground since Hurricane Melissa struck, delivering food, water, and hygiene kits, supporting clean-up efforts.
