In memory of a life well lived!

What can we say about our dad aka “the Legend “ who lived to 102 despite some challenging health issues along the way!
He was always a true gentleman, wanting to do things for others and spending time with those less fortunate than himself. Charity work was really important to him. He and mum spent many years volunteering for the Derby Treetops Hospice when it was founded in 1983.
He also had an enormous love for animals and had a passion for farming. We have many fond memories of spending summer holidays on our cousins farm in Glenshee in Scotland. Whether it was driving the tractor, milking the cows or helping with sheep shearing, Dad was always in the midst of it all!!
When considering what charity to choose for donations, it seemed appropriate that it was a renowned animal charity who put the welfare of the animals in their care, at the heart of what they do. Dad would love to know that he was still helping animals.
Many thanks
