Story

Run for Her, Run for Us, Run for Change

This Charity Run was created from a simple but powerful idea: men running for women, and communities running for each other.

Too often, the conversations around domestic abuse, mental health, and emotional wellbeing happen too late — after damage has already been done. This run is about changing that. It’s about stepping forward before silence becomes harm, and before people are left to face things alone.

But while the message began with men standing up for women, this event is ultimately for everyone.

Families. Friends. Schools. Communities.

Anyone who believes in safety, dignity, and support.

Why We Run Together

We run because behind every statistic is a real person.

A young person struggling in silence.

A mother rebuilding her life.

A child learning what safe relationships should look like.

A survivor trying to find stability again.

Your fundraising directly supports:

🧠 Social impact workshops in schools across the UK and Kenya

💙 Counselling and mental health support in Leicester

🛑 Specialist support for survivors of domestic abuse

🌍 Community programmes that build resilience, safety and hope

This is not abstract charity. This is real support, in real time, for real people.

A Movement, Not Just a Run

This is more than a fitness event. It is a statement.

“We don’t wait for change — we run towards it.”

Every runner becomes part of a collective voice saying: we will not ignore mental health. We will not stay silent on domestic abuse. We will not leave people behind.

Whether you are running, walking, or bringing your family along, you are contributing to something bigger than the route in Victoria Park.

Open to Everyone

While the heart of this initiative is about men stepping up and showing accountability and allyship, this event is proudly open to all genders, ages, and abilities.

We encourage:

Men running in solidarity

Women leading and participating

Families running together

Young people joining for impact

Communities showing up as one

Because change doesn’t belong to one group — it belongs to all of us.

Final Word

This run is about courage. The courage to speak. The courage to show up. The courage to act.

Together, we are not just raising funds.

We are building safer homes.

We are supporting recovery.

We are creating hope where it was missing.

And most importantly — we are proving that when people come together, change doesn’t just happen… it moves.
