Story
The Italian Job holiday is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to visit stunning Italian locations, make friends, create memories, relax and experience, and taste, the very best cultural and gastronomic delights that off-grid Italy has to offer. And at the same time raise funds for children in crisis across the UK.
Inspired by the 1969 Michael Caine film of the same name, the 9-day motoring holiday is a road trip for any Mini owner or vintage car enthusiast, taking adventurers (who are called 'Jobbers' on the trip) off the beaten track to experience the real Italy, away from the tourist trail, as well as revisiting some of the locations used in the hit movie.
While it is the Mini that is the star, making up most of The Italian Job's motorcade, any other vehicle that were featured in the original film, or their more recent counterparts, qualify to join the trip.
The Italian Job's raison d'être is to raise money for children in poverty in the UK. To date, the mother and son organizers, Giulia, and Freddie St George, have raised over £3 million for charity. Each adventurer on the trip is encouraged to raise money in advance of the trip through local fundraising activities and sponsorship of their car.
