Story
The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Leeds Teaching Hospitals are celebrating their 18th birthday in 2026, as Ward J6 at St James' University Hospital.
They care for patients who need close and constant monitoring of their breathing. The current monitoring equipment they use to check important things like oxygen levels and carbon dioxide in the blood has broken down and can no longer be repaired.
To provide the best care possible, the outdated equipment needs replacing with a new TCOM+ Monitoring System. This advanced technology gives real-time information about patients’ respiratory health, helping doctors spot problems early and make quicker, more informed decisions about treatment.
By supporting this fundraiser, you’ll be helping us bring essential, life-improving technology to people living with cystic fibrosis right here in Yorkshire region. Your contribution will make a real difference in ensuring patients receive the care and attention they deserve.
