Story
Jackson's Animal Rescue took over the old Capricorn Site in Padeswood, North Wales in September 2020.
Since the day we received the keys, we have worked none-stop to renovate this site. We have knocked down all old and dangerous buildings, we have built a staff toilet, we have installed new drainage systems as the site was constantly flooding, we have renovated the cattery costing over £12,000, we have built six incredible rabbit cabins, we have re-fenced and goat proofed all three fields, we have built four flight aviaries for release of our wildlife, we have built built four duck runs for the many pet and wild ducks that we help.
Sadly, now our funds have ran dry. With the effect of COVID and a huge amount of animals needing to be re-homed, we are running on empty.
We desperately require a fund to continue with renovations, without even touching the huge project that is the kennels, there's still thousands of pounds worth of work to be done. The cattery needs very specialised air conditioning to keep the pens cool during hot periods, and more draining work needs completing, we need more CCTV to improve our security. We are constantly finding more problems with this site that surface over time, and to continually dip into our running costs has completely crippled us.
We hope that you can help us to have a renovation fund for Jackson's Place, as at the moment we simply cannot carry on improving this site.
