Story

When Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica as a record-tying Category 5 storm, it wiped out 41% of the country's annual GDP in a single afternoon. The cameras have moved on, but thousands of families are still rebuilding from nothing.
"Jamaica, The Land We Love" is a charity single by UK gospel artists — and 100% of what's raised here goes straight to community-led recovery on the ground.
We've been there from day one, first delivering solar and wind-up emergency radios so families had light, communication and a way to charge a phone. That was phase one, and it's done.
Now the most urgent need is water. In Parottee, St Elizabeth, the water system has collapsed. Your donations will fund an Atmospheric Water Generator that pulls 10,000 litres of clean water a day from the air — enough for around 45 households — plus the off-grid solar power to run it 24/7 and the cost of shipping and installing it.
We're a small, last-mile charity, on the ground in Jamaica since 2012. As we say, "we likkle but we tallawah." Every pound brings a family closer to clean water and safety.
Please donate, buy the single, and share. Follow us on Instagram @theoneloveprjct. Thank you for standing with Jamaica. ❤️
