Story

The Jericho Road Project was established in 2001 with the mission to eliminate rough sleeping in the Lewisham borough. The project has six low support houses with 28 residents who are supported in moving into independent accommodation, getting back into employment or volunteering in the community.

Through the pandemic the project has been working tirelessly to support those in the community who have been struggling with food provision, via the Feast hot food delivery service and Big Red Box non perishable food hampers, since March 2020 we have delivered 16,000 meals and over 3,000 food hampers to families and individuals across the lewisham borough.

We have also been offering money, debt, housing and benefit advice and employment support. We know that the struggles caused by the COVID 19 crisis are far from over and we plan to continue our support across 2021/2022.
