Ribaat al-Muhammadiya: Building a Permanent Home for Our Community

Alḥamdulillāh, by the grace of Allah and the generosity of our community, Phase 1 of Ribaat al-Muhammadiya is complete. We have secured the site for what will become a lasting centre of faith, learning and servitude.

Today, we invite you to support Phase 2 - the essential refurbishment works that will allow this building to open its doors and begin serving the community.

A Vision Years in the Making:

For over 20 years, the Karima Foundation has served the Muslim community of High Wycombe through Islamic education, youth development, spiritual nurturing, and vital community support. Over time, demand for these services has far exceeded the capacity of our existing facilities.

The need for a permanent, purpose-built home became clear — a space that would not only meet today’s needs, but serve generations to come. With your dua and donations, that vision is now becoming a reality.

More Than a Building — A Sacred Trust:

Ribaat al-Muhammadiya is not simply a building. It is an amanah (a trust) and a shared vision for the future of our community:

• A sanctuary for salah and reflection

• Dedicated classrooms for Islamic learning - for both children and adults

• A dignified and welcoming space for women, families, and elders

• A vibrant hub for youth work, leadership development, sports, and community services

A place where imaan is nurtured, character is built, and hearts are strengthened insha Allah.

What Phase 2 Will Deliver:

Phase 2 focuses on critical refurbishment works required to make the building safe, functional and ready for use:

1. New Roof Construction

A full roof replacement is essential to secure the building, protect its interior and ensure long-term safety and efficiency.

2. Electrical Installation & Safety Compliance

Modern, fully regulated electrical systems must be installed before any educational, worship or community activities can begin.

3. Core Renovation Works

Preparing prayer areas, classrooms and communal spaces so the Centre can begin serving the community without delay.

These works are the foundation upon which all future development will stand.

Our Target for Phase 2:

We are seeking to raise £500,000 – £750,000 to complete these essential works and bring Ribaat al-Muhammadiya into active use.

This is ṣadaqah jariyah at its finest — a reward that continues to flow as long as people benefit from this centre.
