Story
Calling all Reindeer! Get ready to join the fun this festive season…
This Christmas, take part in a festive and fun-filled challenge that will not only bring joy to your young people but also make a huge difference in the lives of local families across the Wyre Forest.
What is the Rudolph Run?
The Rudolph Run allows children to get active, embrace the Christmas spirit and raise vital funds for those in our community facing life-limiting illnesses and bereavement. With reindeer antlers, festive cheer and the opportunity to raise money for KEMP Hospice, it’s an event you won’t want to miss!
It is flexible, customisable and easy to organise. The event fits easily into your schedule, whether during PE, a Christmas activity day, or as part of a larger celebration - no complicated setup required.
Why Should You Participate?
By taking part in the Rudolph Run, you will enable us to continue offering our specialist bereavement services and person-centred care. KEMP’s support is available to people of all ages, including children, who are coping with the death of a loved one.
£52 could pay for a full session of specialised bereavement care for children as young as 5. 1 in 29 children between 5 and 16 experience the death of a parent or sibling, that’s one in every average school class. Our Children and Young Person's team ensures every child gets the help they need and provides vital support for these young individuals.
How it Works:
We provide all the resources you need, including:
• A template letter for parents/guardians
• A poster template to display at school, on the website and social media pages.
• Reindeer antlers for each child
• Sponsorship forms for easy fundraising and a blank certificate of completion.
• Exclusive educational resource pack: Unlock a fantastic, exclusive pack of festive Maths, English and PE resources, as well as customisable, printable materials you will need on the day.
Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of families who need support during some of their most difficult times.
