Story
We’re very excited to announce that our Squirrels will be taking part in KEMP Hospice’s Rudolph Run this year! It is a fun & festive event where children can get active and help raise money for a wonderful local charity.
Based in the heart of the Wyre Forest, KEMP Hospice offers free holistic palliative care and support to adults living with progressive life-limiting illnesses and provide support to adults, children and young people affected by bereavement.
It costs KEMP nearly £1.9m to provide the service they do and they rely on the community to help raise around £1.6m of this each year.
To participate in the Rudolph Run, on 8th December WF15 Squirrels will be walking from our Scout Hut down to KEMP. The distance for their little legs is just over a mile. Each Squirrel has brought home a special tin tonight, which they have decorated themselves, to collect as much money as possible from people who would like to sponsor then for taking part. Every penny raised will go towards helping KEMP continue their incredible work in the community.
We can’t wait to see all the Squirrels joining in, having fun and spreading lots of Christmas cheer!
Thank you for your support and generosity.
Together we can make a real difference this Christmas.
