The Trades House of Glasgow Kinship Care Initiative is designed to provide opportunities to children being supported by their extended family, to reach their full potential and become active citizens in the City.The Initiative aims to raise £3million between now and 2020 that will be used to provide grants for young people to participate in outdoor activities and educational programmes, that will build their characters and enhance their job opportunities. Trades House, whose membership includes a wealth of experience with deprived groups in Glasgow, will work with those already providing essential support and ensure that the funds raised are utilised effectively.
