Story

Throughout June, we are asking the Oxfordshire business community to support Sobell House by taking part in our Land's End to John o' Groats virtual challenge.

The total distance is 874 miles but we don't expect each person, or even one business to complete this challenge themselves! Instead, we want to unite under these difficult circumstances, by tackling this challenge together.

We are asking local businesses to commit their colleagues to completing a number of miles towards the challenge. For some businesses, it may be 10, others 50 or even 100. You can walk, run or cycle. You can complete your miles in your garden, or out and about (following social distancing guidelines). Or, if you have an exercise bike or treadmill you can do it in the comfort of your own home - the choice is yours!

We ask you to aim to raise £5 per mile, which means together as a local business community we can raise at least £4,370. And if lots get behind this challenge, it would be great if we could go from Land's End to John o' Groats and back again - raising even more money for your local hospice.

Thank you for your support.
