Adventurous Leeds RAG students are taking on the Three Peaks challenge in support of Women for Women International.
A group of adventurous Leeds RAG Students are taking on the Three Peaks challenge in support of women survivors of war. The National Three Peaks challenge is a world renowned adventure found within the UK that sees participants take on the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, usually within 24 hours.
They will cover a total distance of 26 miles and 3000m in ascent, with participants witnessing majestic landscapes, breath-taking views and beautiful scenery every step of the way. All whilst raising vital funds for women survivors of war.
Did you know that it's more dangerous to be a woman in armed conflict than it is to be a soldier? Leeds RAG's support will mean that Women for Women International can enrol even more women onto our year long Stronger Women, Stronger Nations Programme, where women learn about their rights, their health and wellbeing, how to earn and save money and how to run a business - all in a classroom with 24 other women like her, breaking the isolation caused by war and conflict. Donate today so another woman can gain the tools she needs to build a brighter future for herself.
