Adventurous Leeds RAG students are taking on the Three Peaks challenge in support of Women for Women International.

Story

Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm Deep, and in July 2024, I'll be tackling the NATIONAL three peaks challenge to support Women for Women International (WfWI). WfWI stands with women in war-torn countries, where the impact is devastating. You may not know that in modern conflict, it is more dangerous to be a woman than a soldier. They face brutality, endure sexual violence, and witness the heartbreaking loss of loved ones.

Learning about how the survivor's lives were transformed through WfWI made me believe in the work they do. In July, I will be climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland & Wales - all within 24 hours on minimal sleep. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37 km) with an ascent of 3064 metres (10,052 ft). This is quite a gruelling feat, but I will push my limits to help the people in dire need.

Any amount YOU  donate will spur me on and give a woman the opportunity to rebuild her life. My goal is to raise £695; so, I urge you to dig deep into your pockets and invest in a peaceful world.
