When charity founders, Roy and Mim tragically lost their two sons, Lenny and Bhai, they found there was a lack of support for parents in their situation. Lenny died unexpectedly just after he was born at full term due to complications at birth. The couple then lost Bhai halfway through pregnancy within a year.

The couple found no charities which addressed both types of loss, and that family, friends and professionals didn't know how to support them.

As such they used their combined skillset and professional backgrounds in Social Work, education, Psychology and research to found Lenny's Legacy. The charity has strong connections to adventure and nature and seeks to offer hope for bereaved families and help them to navigate their grief.
