Hi, I'm Shiv and I am fundraising for a registered charity that is very close to my heart, Lenny's Legacy (1201987). The organisation was founded by bereaved parents Roy and Mim in loving memory of their two sons Lenny and Bhai who tragically died. Lenny's Legacy supports parents bereaved through pregnancy, infant and child loss.

I will be doing a tandem skydive on May 19th with Skydive GB parachute club in Bridlington! Oh and have I mentioned I am terrified of heights and I am generally pretty risk averse.. so not something I will find easy! I am always wanting to push my boundaries and take myself out of my comfort zone, so I thought what better way to do this by jumping out of a plane in honour of Lenny and Bhai and all of the babies that were taken too soon. The parents that experience child bereavement have had to endure the most painful experience anyone could ever go through and they are still here fighting every day and honouring their children. The fear I will feel jumping out of a plane is only temporary but the pain that bereaved parents experience is everlasting.

The money raised will go directly towards supporting bereaved parents by funding groups, events, activities and evidence informed online resources for parents when they need it most.
