Experiencing the death of a child is one of the worst things that can happen to a person - it is uniquely painful and isolating. When our son Lenny died we felt completely alone and lacked hope.
We have found solace in active in nature and through connecting with other bereaved parents who know this pain - this isn't just us, research shows that peer support and exercise outdoors is supportive in grief and for emotional wellbeing.
We honour our boys' memories through adventure - we made a short documentary film about this which you can view on Youtube. We want to offer people a small slice of this experience to inspire hope for those experiencing this pain. We also want to offer opportunities for connections with others, to connect with their grief in a supportive environment and to share experiences of love, loss and grief.
Can you fundraise for us? Can you donate as part of our Christmas appeal? Could you share our fundraising pages? Please support in any way you can whether that is sharing our website, following us on social media or fundraising. We are a small charity with few overheads so a little goes a long way and all the money raised will go directly towards events for bereaved parents.
