On January 19th 2025, Leo should be celebrating his 10th birthday & we wanted not only to mark this occasion for him, his family and our team, but to help us raise vital funds for our services.

On the 19th, members of our team, Leo's family, midwives and other health care professionals will be walking up Roseberry Topping, placing 'Stones For Support' along the way.

As part of our fundraiser, we've partnered up with our sponsor, Corner Plot Getaways for a long weekend at The Green from Friday February 28th-Monday March 3rd in Seaton Carew.

Every donation made as part of this campaign will be entered automatically to win the getaway (please scroll down for full terms and conditions).

Over the last month we have shared the challenges we face as a charity to fund our services which include, specialist peer support from our team with lived experience, counselling & trauma treatment which includes talking therapies, CBT & EMDR.

Our neonatal counselling & trauma service closes in December 2024 after five years, and the future of our peer support service is uncertain.

We need the help of our community now more than ever to keep our doors open, and continue our life saving support.

Our Stones For Support Campaign has been launched to raise vital funds to help keep our charity going & to celebrate the little boy who started it all off. Please consider donating to help others who will need our support in the future.

How To Get Involved:

Sponsor A Stone

We're collecting and decorating hundreds of pebbles and stones to place along our walk to Roseberry Topping on January 19th.

If you've been affected by baby or pregnancy loss:

You can sponsor a stone & we can write your baby's name, or a word you associate with them, a message to them, their due date or anything you feel comfortable with.

If you've been affected by a neonatal stay:

You can sponsor a stone & we can write your baby's name, the gestation they were born at, their weight, a message of hope or anything you feel comfortable with.

All you need to do is tell us what you'd like when you make the donation via JustGiving.

Stones will be laid along the route & photos will be taken by our team and shared on social media for you to keep.

If you'd like to join our team for the walk on the 19th, we'd love to have you! You can set up your own JustGiving page from this campaign & get sponsored for your walk.

We know Roseberry Topping can be a big trek, so we've got two options for those wanting to join us on the day. One route is the flatter route, and you may decide to do our shorter walk (stopping at the Shooting Box), or continue up to the top.

You'll be part of the team helping lay stones along the way.

Competition - Weekend Away At The Green Seaton Carew

Every donation and fundraising page created as part of this fundraiser will be entered automatically into a prize draw to win a long, self-catering weekend at The Green in Seaton Carew.

This prize has been donated by our sponsors Corner Plot Getaways.

This beautiful 9 bedroom, 7 bathroom home boasts stunning interior, a private cinema room and a games room, not only that, but it sleeps up to 13 people, meaning you can bring more of your friends and family if you wish!

Terms & Conditions

1. No employees or trustees from Leo's are permitted to enter this competition even if a donation is made. Entries will be removed.

2. If you do not wish to be entered to the giveaway please email us on hello@leosneonatal.org and you will be removed. Entries close on January 19th 2025 at 11:59pm

3. Entrants must be aged 18+ and live in the UK

4. The prize cannot be swapped for vouchers / monetary value or for another property

5. This competition runs from December 2nd 2024-January 19th 2025 at 11:59pm. Any donations made after this time will not be entered

6. Winner will be selected by Leo's through a random name generator in which all eligible entries will be inputted, and the winner will be contacted via phone and email on January 20th. The winner will have 48 hours to accept the prize. Leo's reserves the right to reallocate the prize to another entrant if the prior contacted winner does not accept their prize within the allotted time.

7. Upon acceptance of the prize, details including full name, contact number and email will be shared with Corner Plot Getaways to book the weekend break

8. Leo's nor Corner Plot Getaways will provide any financial assistance around travel, food, or any wider costs incurred from accepting this prize

9. By submitting their personal details, the entrant agrees to Leo's processing those details in accordance with the purposes made known the entrant at the time of collection and in accordance with Leo's privacy policy which can be viewed at www.leosneonatal.org
