Story
This page is supporting Lifespace Trust, a Warwickshire‑based charity that works alongside children and young people aged 7–19 through mentoring, group work and early support - often at points where life feels overwhelming, unsafe or stuck.
Our runners are taking on this challenge to help ensure Lifespace can keep showing up consistently for young people who need someone steady alongside them. Not to fix or rush them, but to listen, notice, and stay.
One young person, wrote about her experience of being supported by Lifespace:
Lifespace is the only place in my life where I’ve consistently seen what safe, caring, professional rapport looks like. I’ve never had to doubt them.”
That sense of safety — of being truly seen and not judged - is at the heart of Lifespace’s work.
Last year alone, Lifespace supported over 1,500 young people, delivering thousands of one‑to‑one mentoring sessions and group activities across schools and communities. Behind those numbers are young people finding words, learning to regulate, rebuilding confidence, and feeling less alone.
Every donation on this page helps fund that kind of relational support - the sort that doesn’t come from a quick fix, but from time, trust and skilled adults who stay alongside young people when things are hard.
If you’re donating: thank you. Your support genuinely matters.
And if reading this makes you think you might like to take part in this - or a future challenge - we do still have a small number of Lifespace charity places available. To request a Lifespace place for the event, please email hello@lifespace.org.uk.
