Story

Meet Lulu. Shes a very special girl with a very sad story.

Little Lulu was found wandering the streets; abandoned, alone and in an awful condition. Upon her rescue, she was found to be totally matted, sore and covered in fleas...there was no choice but to remove all of the hair on her body.

Given her condition, we suspect Lulu has been used for breeding, and has found herself homeless now her breeding days are over. Your support will help Lulu in the next chapter of her life and help her on her journey to happiness.

Lulu has mammary tumours that need removing. She has bad teeth and skin that need attention, and she needs her routine spay.

Lulus treatment will come to £1,700, which is a huge expense for a charity like ours, where every single penny is accounted for. However, it is an expense that will give Little Lulu the chance she deserves of a wonderful home and new life, which is why we are asking for your support.

As you can imagine, this is quite the mountain for this brave little girl to conquer and we are seeking a foster home for lovely Lulu to recover in. Lulu is a placid, laid backed girl who is usually found snoozing her head off in bed! If you're interested in finding out more about Little Lulu, please get in touch with us at www.nawt.org.uk

UPDATE: Thanks to your generosity we have reached and exceeded our target of £1700 to pay for the veterinary treatment that little Lulu needs. A massive thank you to all those who came to Lulu's rescue by donating and to the Clacton and Frinton Gazette and the Colchester Gazette for featuring her story. We will update this page soon to let you know about her progress.
