Thank you for supporting Team Literacy Pirates as we take on the Hackney Half 2023!

Your support is helping our charity to address educational inequality at our Hackney, Haringey and Virtual 'Ships'. This year we're working with over 300 children, to develop their literacy, confidence and perseverance.

To join our team and run 13.1 miles with a friendly bunch of fellow pirates and raise money to support children in London with their literacy, confidence and perseverance.

Live entertainment and DJs will keep you motivated and inspired as you cruise down Mare Street, passed the famous Town Hall, head through the historic Broadway Market, and then take in Hackney Wick, which is flush with vibrant street art. Explore green spaces including Haggerston and Downs Parks, cross over twelve canals and rivers, and enjoy a panoramic view of the Olympic Park. Cross over the finish line into a full festival of fitness on the Hackney Marshes.
