In October/November 2020 we will be jumping on a flight to Peru and hiking along the most scenic and diverse trail to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. The 10 day adventure will allow us to experience life as a Peruvian in remote villages, eating local delicacies, camping under the stars, trek the famous Salkantay Trail and complete a local community project.

As well as experiencing some breathtaking views and experiencing life in Peru, we will also be spending two days completing a local community development project. Previous groups have repainted a school, helped repair a clinic and community centre, or created a vegetable garden. Our work within the local community will undoubtedly help local individuals, schools and the whole community in order for them to live healthier and happier lives.

We are aiming to raise over £115,000 to support the work St Oswalds Hospice carries out each day with adults, young adults, children and babies with incurable conditions. Our specialist care reaches out not only to the patients but also their families and carers too but we need your help to continue to provide our vital work.
