Story
We are a team of supporters and Maggie's West London centre staff taking part in a skydive to raise money for Maggie's charity!
The team!
Our staff team taking part includes, Troy, our Psychologist, Zoe, our Benefits Advisor, Lauren, our Cancer Support Specialist, Anthony, our Centre Assistant. Along with supporters, Shivani, Megan, Peter and Emma!
The challenge!
We will be skydiving from a whooping 15,000ft! This is one minute of freefall before the parachute opens up! This is no mean feat, and will take a huge amount of mental power and strength to get out of the plane!
The cause!
Maggies Centres offer practical and emotional support to people with any type of cancer, at any stage, for free. We receive no government funds and rely on the generosity of our many supporters. We focus on the things that really make a difference, like finance worries, housing, help with managing stress, anxiety, depression and side efforts of treatment as well as family support. This is through 1-1 support or group sessions. We have about 100-150 people visiting our West London centre every day.
