Whilst we are working to find a cure for brain tumours, we will provide the best patient and family support network we can, for as long as we are needed.
Our partnership with Match It and One Community Kirklees will enable us to reach and help families across Kirklees whose lives have been turned upside down by a brain tumour diagnosis. With your help we will be able to employ our own Counsellor to make this happen.
Our counselling service gives access to a professional who is supportive, practical and non-judgmental and can assist with coping strategies to help you through difficult times.
"I rang YBTC when I was first diagnosed and I have never looked back ever since. They have been amazing. They have always been there. I have a zoom meeting with them once a fortnight now which is fantastic. You can make contact with them whenever, and I certainly do. They have just been so supportive and made this journey so much easier.
