Meadowbank is Bedford Hospital’s Neonatal Unit. The Neonatal Unit is a Level1 Special Care Baby Unit caring for premature, unwell new-born babies and their families.

Over 1,000 premature and sick babies are treated by our Neonatal Intensive Care team every year. There are even more babies who are in need of specialist care each and every year.

As the numbers in specialist baby care increase, so does the need for parents' accommodation, allowing parents to be with their babies whilst they are receiving life saving treatment.
