The Revelation ROC+COACH Community Mentoring Scheme provides one-to-one relationship support to low-risk people based in Blackpool with managed mental health conditions and to give them goal-focused support from Christians from the local church. Referrals come from the mental health services in Blackpool and those being mentored must demonstrate a willingness to receive coaching, ideas and support of employment.

The scheme recognises that the Mentors who provide support are working as volunteers. Mentors are not professionally qualified welfare workers and would not aim to fulfil that role. However, all mentors are trained and matched to support people with the skills and experience a volunteer Mentor has to offer.
