The Mercury Theatre is currently in the midst of the most exciting and transformational time since we opened our doors in 1972. The aim is to create a world class arts venue where the focus is engaging people and bringing the community into a fully accesible building to experience and be part of world class theatre.

The building work has already begun and we are well on our way to presenting Colchester with a beautiful theatre space when the doors open in 2020, but we need your help! we have already raised over £8 million for the project and now have £500,000 left to raise.
