More Tomorrows - RRM2B Gene therapy research

Charlie Gard’s short but powerful life brought global attention to RRM2B mitochondrial disease. Today, Emily, Rachael & JoJo face the same condition. Help fund urgently needed gene therapy research and create more tomorrows for families like theirs.

Story

More Tomorrows for Mito

Beautiful Charlie Gard's story continues through Emily, Rachael and JoJo. Three young people living with RRM2B mitochondrial disease – the same cruel, progressive condition that took Charlie far too soon.

Like Charlie's family, their families have been told there is no cure.

But for the first time, there is now genuine hope.

Gene therapy research offers real hope for people living with RRM2B mitochondrial disease, with important early studies already underway. However, urgent funding is needed to progress the next stage of research.

Donations to More Tomorrows for Mito will help fund urgently needed pre-clinical gene therapy research for RRM2B mitochondrial disease, bringing us closer to a potential treatment for Rachael and JoJo.

All donations are made securely through JustGiving and received by the Charlie Gard Foundation in the UK. Funds are dedicated to the RRM2B treatment programme led by Emily's Garden Foundation in Australia.
