The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileEczema can be a debilitating condition that impacts every minute of every day. It can involve hours of putting on treatments, intense itching, sleepless nights and a isolating feeling of being the only child dealing with the condition. All things that Reagan aged 7 knows only too well.
"He can get skin flares so easily and it's hard to know what has caused them. Things like a different washing powder can cause his eczema to spread all over his body and it is incredibly itchy for him. He can scratch himself raw in his sleep during a flare and can take days to get his skin back under control." (Regans mum)
But that didn't stop him from being a fundraising super star for last year's Move 5 campaign and he is all set for doing it again.
He wanted to get involved in the fundraiser and raise money for Eczema Outreach Support so more kids with eczema can get help and support.
You can get involved too and help children just like Reagan.
Move 5 is the annual campaign in May to raise much needed funds for Eczema Outreach Support. Everyone can get involved!
Whether you are 3 years old or 93 you can take part in Move 5 throughout May. Put on your walking shoes or a running vest, or if you prefer grab your bike, your scooter or your roller skates and then pick a challenge that suits you.
You could do
- 5 laps of your local park
- 5k run, walk or cycle
- 5 hrs of dancing
- 500 jumps on a trampoline
Or anything else that suits you.
Just decide how you want to move and set yourself a challenge that involves 5. You can do it any time in May.
Last year Reagan did 5 laps around his local football pitch on his bike because he loves football and being on his bike, even when the eczema makes it hard for him. What a star!
