We all like to start a new year off with a resolution, but these don't always go on to becoming a regular habit of ours. By committing people to 31 minutes of exercise for 31 days, we want to encourage those involved to see the benefits that exercise can have on an individuals mental health, and also the fun that it can bring!
You can do whatever exercise for 31 minutes a day that you wish, and you can change it up each day! The only limit to what you can do is your imagination.
This is the first year we've launched our own Move for Mind campaign, and we're using this as a way of launching our spaces in several active challenges (which you can read more about on our website). All the money raised from this campaign will be used to fund our high quality mental health services, and give the people of York a space to talk, and recover.
