I'm starting 2023 off the right way and spending 31 minutes of each of the 31 days of January exercising and raising money for York Mind. Mind states that physical activity can help us improve how much we sleep, it can release good hormones into our body, and it can help us manage our levels of stress. Not only that, but it can help us focus, and allow us to relax.
York Mind are an independent charity based in York who deliver a range of services for people recovering from ill-mental health. These services couldn't exist without the generosity of our local community, and I'm proud to be standing up and voicing my support.
