Story
Run 5k in your glitziest gym clothes?
Set a personal best in luminous leggings?
Take the dog for a run in its snazziest collar?
It's time to take to the streets in your neon running gear to make carers visible.
1 in 6 people are carers. They look after a family member or friend who has a disability or illness or who needs extra help as they grow older.
Caring has an impact on relationships, health, finances and work. While many feel that caring is one of the most important things they do, caring without the right information and support can be tough.
Sadly, carers and the vital contribution they make to society are often invisible. You can help by setting a personal running challenge and completing it in your brightest clothes. By taking part in this campaign, you will be making the contribution of carers to their families, local communities and society visible. And you'll raise money to make a carer's life a little easier.

Being a carer is hard work but your support will make life a little easier. The money you raise could give a carer a listening ear, practical advice or a chance to spend time with other carers. Thanks very much for taking part.
