I'm taking on a Neon Run for Carers. I'll be running 10k each day from 5th - 11th June. As you might know, I'm more of a walker than a runner and I last ran 10k in 2014. This is going to be quite a challenge...

1 in 6 people are carers. They look after a family member or friend who has a disability, mental or physical illness, or who needs extra help as they grow older. Too often, carers are invisible. I'll be running in neon to help make carers and their hard work visible.

Caring has an impact on relationships, health, finances and work, and carers have faced even more difficult circumstances during the pandemic. While many feel that caring is one of the most important things they do, caring without the right information and support can be tough.

Your donation will help to make that support available - whether that's a listening ear, practical advice or a chance to spend time with other carers.
