The new Appleby Blue Almshouse in Bermondsey is close to opening in Spring/Summer 2022. This new development will reset all our expectations of older people's social housing. The stunning design, the openness of the spaces, the support and care that residents will receive, will mean that oler persons from Southwark will have a wonderful and secure place to live.

To help make this a reality, we are raising funds to help purchase furniture and equipment for the communal rooms and gardens. We need things to be functional, hard-wearing, as well as comfortable and attractive for people to want to use for many years. We need garden seating, chairs and sofas for the loune areas, ovens and fridges for our community kitchen, and musical equipment for entertaining.

Whatever you are able to give will be used by some of the most deserving people in our society.
