This year marks an exciting milestone for us at the NFRSA — for the first time ever, we have two incredible runners taking on the London Marathon 2026 to raise vital funds for our cause!

Who We Are

At the NFRSA, we support the four-legged heroes who have spent their lives in service—whether in the police, fire, prison, border force, NCA and NHS services. These animals have worked tirelessly alongside their human partners, saving lives, protecting communities, and asking for nothing in return.

But when their service ends, so does their funding.

That’s where we step in.

We provide financial support for the ongoing care of retired service animals—helping with veterinary bills and specialist treatments—ensuring they enjoy the peaceful, healthy retirement they so richly deserve.
