We at Heritage Charity London are devoted to helping children to receive the skills and education that allow them to prosper and flourish. Any child can achieve their goals and dreams if they have the right resources. This project will aim to provide relief from the current cost of living crisis in the UK by educating participants on the importance of healthy eating and how they can do they can do this easily and inexpensively themselves.
We are planning and implementing free healthy-cooking workshops to children and families, where they can learn how to cook healthy and inexpensive meals at home with little effort. Currently we are running these workshops in the Holborn and Camden area in London with hopes to expand to Tower Hamlets, Newham and Southwark too that we are raising the funds for. These workshops also aim to educate participants on the importance of healthy eating and how nutritious and balanced meals significantly contribute to a child's academic ability.
The current cost of living crisis has made the work we do even more essential, with families facing financial hardship and a living crisis like no other. This makes it difficult for some to maintain the consumption of healthy and nutritious meals, but the team at Heritage Charity London is dedicated to ensuring that all children are still given what they need to be healthy and strong individuals, ready for challenges and solving problems.
We have a small but dedicated team running the charity at Heritage Charity London which is made up of staff, volunteers and partnering organisations. Each and every one of us have a dire passion for the education and well-being of children and young people, and we will not stop until we have made education and equally accessible tool for all.

This funding will allow us to run this project to provide relief to children and their families who are struggling most throughout the toughest and most challenging financial crisis. We are providing essential healthy cooking sessions which educate participants on how important eating healthy and balanced meals is, and how these can be made easily and inexpensively at home. This programme will be of benefit both in the short-term and in the long-term. It will provide immediate support and relief to those who are struggling by providing a place where they can get a free and hot meal, as well as teaching children and their families life-long skills they can used to lead healthy and strong lives.
