Story

*Next event: Haute Route: Ventoux. 6-8th October*

Support Haute Routes Official Charity Partner, NOMAN is an Island, in their mission to raise awareness and funds for cancer prevention.

This June, NOMAN riders will tackle an epic 3 days of climbing 7500m+ amidst lofty Swiss summits in the name of eliminating HPV cancers.

This will be followed by the Sierre-Zinal Race; one of the world's greatest trail circuits.

To cap off the season, our cyclists will tackle the iconic Mont Ventoux and its surroundings including the Gorges de la Nesque.

Climbs include:

The Giant of Provence; Mont Ventoux. For many, the ultimate climb in cycling. NOMAN will tackle all 3 sides of this legendary climb which has pushed many Tour de France legends to their limits.

Sierre-Zinal. Also called the “Race of the Five 4000m Peaks”, Sierre-Zinal heads along a daunting 31 km mountain trail involving a 2200 meter elevation gain and a 1100 meter vertical drop in the heart of the Valais Alps.

Barrage de Moiry. An opening day of 117km and 3400m of ascent welcome our riders to Switzerland. The climb to Barrage de Moiry at 2250m will take riders through the quaint terraced villages, ancient forests, and stark alpine landscapes that Switzerland is renowned for, whilst tackling an average gradient of 7.7%.

Col du Sanestch. 26km, 1700m of ascent and a gradient of 10.9% for the opening kilometre welcomes you to what is sometimes compared to the famous Stelvio, but with less traffic than its Italian neighbour.

Col de Crans-Montana. The final day time trial. 15km long and 1250m separate the team from the finish line on Day 3. Tackled by riders in Stage 13 of this Giro, a race against the clock up the mountain will round out a tough weekend for the team.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the causal agent of 5% of all cancers. The good news is we can end HPV cancers by vaccinating both girls and boys against this devastating virus.

Thank you
