Story

Mental Elf is back in Nottinghamshire for its fourth magical year!

Last year’s event was bursting with festive fun, and thanks to the overwhelming support and amazing feedback, we’re returning to the woodland wonder of Sherwood Pines Forest Park once more.

So, grab your glitter, don your silliest Santa hat, and join us for Mental Elf 2025! Whether you run, walk, jog, or skip (elves are big fans of skipping), it’s a fun, family-friendly event - and even the dog can join in!

But behind the tinsel and laughter, there’s a serious reason we do this.

1 in 4 people will struggle with their mental health this year. Many won’t know where to turn. That’s where Nottinghamshire Mind comes in - with free, compassionate support services tailored to real people, in real communities across Nottinghamshire.

But here’s the hard truth: we can’t do it alone.

Every pound raised through Mental Elf helps us meet growing demand. It keeps our doors open, our phone lines answered, and our teams on the ground where they’re needed most.

Though some of our services have a small fee, most are free - and all depend on your support to continue.

So please - sponsor someone taking part, or donate today. Your support means someone in crisis can find help, hope, and a friendly face when they need it most.

Help us make sure no one faces mental health challenges alone.
