Story

In the US, we partner with Save the Children to support children and families suffering from the impact of natural disasters and help communities to better prepare for and meet their unique needs before a disaster strikes. Orange United Week is when employees around the world get involved in the partnership through various fundraising campaigns.

Save the Children and GSK have been partners since 2013 and have reached 2.8 million children in 45 countries. The organizations have worked together in the U.S. since 2015, helping children cope with natural disasters, with GSK providing corporate and employee donations to directly aid children affected by recent disasters, including response to Hurricane Laura and wildfires on the West Coast, to help families and child-serving institutions keep children safe and increase the resilience of children experiencing disasters.

About the charity

Save the Children works in over 120 countries. As the leading expert on children, we invest in childhood, every day, in times of crisis and for our future. We save children’s lives. We fight for their rights. We help them fulfill their potential.
