Story
Padley has supported people at risk of homelessness, poverty and hunger in Derby and Derbyshire since 1985.
Our vision is that no-one in Derby or Derbyshire is affected by homelessness and the associated poverty and social isolation.
Padley support and empower those affected by homelessness to improve their lives.
We achieve this by providing an accepting and safe environment with food, toiletry, and clothing facilities, and activities to develop self-confidence, relationships and wellbeing. We also provide support, advice, training, and volunteering opportunities to improve financial security and independence.
We work in partnership with other organisations and agencies so those affected by homelessness can access shared pathways of support and receive the most effective and holistic services.
Last year, over 800 people visited us over 9000 times, and we completed 415 one-to-one support sessions. We also provided over 21,000 meals at our day centre or in our food parcels, 1,600 toiletry parcels, and 525 clothing parcels.
Thank you for your support- we cannot do what we do without you!
