Story
The Brighton and Hove community is incredible. Almost every week, hundreds of boxes filled with medical aid, warm clothes, pet food, and hygiene products are packed by our volunteers.
To date, we have delivered 90 tons of life-saving supplies directly to displaced families and war zones in Ukraine, including Kharkiv.
The Crisis: We are losing our home
While our team is 100% volunteer and we have no paid staff, we have one massive, unavoidable expense: Our storage facility.
To collect, sort, and pack our aid, we need a secure, dry space. Our storage costs £700 every month. Without this hub, we have nowhere to receive your donations and nowhere to pack the trucks that travel 2,500km to the frontlines.
Why we need you today
We currently have over 2 tons of aid sitting in storage, ready for the next delivery. But before we can pay for the fuel to get it there, we must secure the roof over its head.
£25 pays for one day of storage.
£175 secures our hub for an entire week.
£700 covers the facility for a full month of operations.
Where your money goes
We are a volunteer-operating charity. Your donation doesn't go to salaries or marketing; it goes to:
Storage Hire: Keeping the aid safe and organized (£600/mo).
Transport Logistics: Fuel, tolls, and maintenance for the 1,000-mile journey.
Delivery: Shipping 1.5 tons of aid from Brighton to Kharkiv costs roughly £1,000.
Please help us keep the lights on in Brighton so we can bring light to Ukraine. Whether it’s a one-time gift or a monthly donation to help pay the rent, every penny keeps the wheels turning.
If 30 people in Brighton & Hove commit to just £20 a month, our storage is paid for forever. Please consider ticking the 'Monthly' box to give us long-term stability.
