Aid isn’t just about the items—it’s about the journey. Before a single box reaches Ukraine, it must be sorted and packed right here in Brighton.

I know it from my personal experience. I'm one of the founders of STAND FOR U, which is a 100% volunteer-run charity, but we face one critical, unavoidable cost: £700 per month for our storage hub.

Without this secure, dry space, we have nowhere to receive donations and no place to pack the trucks for their 2,500 km journey to Ukraine.
