Story
Pedall delivers inclusive guided cycle rides in the heart of the New Forest, opening up access to nature for people who might otherwise be excluded. We support people of all ages and abilities—including those with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, long-term health conditions, and those experiencing isolation or low confidence—removing barriers and creating a safe, welcoming space to ride, connect and belong.
In 2025 alone, we worked with over 50 organisations including schools, colleges and residential care homes, delivering 600 inclusive cycle rides for more than 1,100 individuals. Many of our riders return week after week, building friendships, confidence and a sense of freedom—something that can be life-changing.
As one rider shared, “I never thought I’d be able to cycle again. Pedall has given me that freedom back.”
A parent told us, “This is the highlight of our week—somewhere my child feels included and happy.”
And one of our volunteers said, “You see people arrive nervous and leave smiling—it’s incredibly special.”
We ride six days a week, almost all year round, and behind every ride is a dedicated team and a fleet of specialist cycles that need ongoing care. To continue this vital work, we urgently need to raise funds to maintain our cycles, train and support our volunteers, and ensure we can keep reaching those who need us most.
Your support helps keep Pedall’s wheels turning—creating opportunities for connection, confidence, and wellbeing through the simple, powerful joy of cycling in nature 🚲💚
