Story
Events were cancelled. Fundraising was put on hold. 2020 was a devastating year for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
It's estimated we lost more than £100,000 a month because of the pandemic.
Now, we are calling on our supporters to Power Up and help us bridge the gap left by Covid-19. We need your help to raise the essential funds that mean our helicopters can continue to Power Up every day.
There are so many ways people can power up to support us. If you love gaming you can power up your console and stream. For those who tried their hand at banana bread during lockdown, you can power up your oven and bake. If you like to be active, power up your legs and run, swim or cycle. The possibilities are endless.
