Starting at West Ham Park in Newham, East London, we quickly transition to peaceful country roads. Essex unfolds its charm with quaint villages and quiet lanes meandering through the countryside. The journey includes several stops before concluding at Priory Park in Southend. Enjoy music, refreshments, a beer tent, and, of course, a well-deserved medal at the finish!
Places are £50 to register with a commitment to raise at least £350 in sponsorship. The event target of £20,000 will be used to raise awareness of (and to increase access to) minimally invasive focal treatment options for men with prostate cancer. This means minimal side effects so men continue their lives after treatment without affecting lifestyle outcomes.

In the next 10 years alone, a staggering 500,000 men will receive a new prostate cancer diagnosis in the UK. Up to 160,000 of these men will have low to medium-grade, treatable cancer and could benefit from cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatments called Focal Therapy. But, right now, almost all of those men will only be offered the same invasive, lifestyle-changing treatments as men with advanced cancers.
Focal therapy uses the very latest technology to treat early-stage cancer cells without harming surrounding tissue and organs. This means minimal side effects so these men can continue their lives after prostate cancer with normal lifestyle functionality. More invasive treatments will usually lead to incontinence and erectile dysfunction, the chances of which are dramatically reduced with focal treatments.
