Prost8 is campaigning to broaden awareness of, and access to, newer minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer here in the UK. Our challenge is to dramatically reduce the current overtreatment of men with prostate cancer.

Story

On Father's day 2024 England Football team started their Euros campaign with a win over Serbia in the Arena AufSchalke in Germany in front of 55,000 spectators. By coincidence, that equals the number of men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer in the UK over the last 12 months

Directly because of Prost8 in 2020 I was fortunate enough to gain access to an innovative prostate cancer treatment designed to be minimally invasive and thereby avoid the complications associated with the standard treatments.

In 2020 there were only two hospitals, both in the south of the UK, offering that kind of procedure. Yes, I was very lucky and very grateful!

Directly and only because of generous donors, this charity is now rolling out this equipment and the associated training in NHS hospitals across the UK. They also advocate for a national testing protocol which currently doesn't exist.

I am hoping enough time has passed since I last tapped into your generosity for you to consider donating again. If so please click on the Just Giving link below.

Find out more at prost8.org.uk and please support me to be part of the Prost8 legacy.

Thank you!
