At Queensway one of our values is to Challenge Everything. At this time so many people have been challenged in different ways and we have been looking for ways to support each other, our customers and our communities.

Shooting Star Childrens Hospices support the families of children with life limiting conditions with a range of practical and emotional care. Queensway has been working with Shooting Star for some years, raising over £150,000 through various initiatives including our annual golf day, donations from refurbishments and even a skydive. One of our favourite fundraisers is the annual Sunrise Walk where a group of the Queensway team walk 10 or 20km at sunrise to raise money for this amazing cause. Last year over 50 of us took part and the year before we were named Challenge Team of the Year by the charity.

Unfortunately, this year, the Sunrise Walk which would be taking place on 31st May cannot go ahead this will result in a significant loss of donations to the charity who are reliant on events like this to continue their incredible work.

But we wont let that stop us trying to make a difference
