Rise and shine! 

It’s our annual 20k dawn walk for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. 

I’m joining the Queensway teams this Sunday to complete the challenge. This year the Dawn Walk goes on tour, as we complete the 20k in our local areas from 4.30 am (yes am!) 

We may not be walking together in Richmond Park, but we still hope to shine a light on the amazing work done at the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices  

A message from Queensway:

At Queensway one of our values is to Challenge Everything. At this time so many people have been challenged in different ways and we have been looking for ways to support each other, our customers and our communities. Shooting Star Childrens Hospices support the families of children with life limiting conditions with a range of practical and emotional care. Queensway has been working with Shooting Star for some years, raising over £150,000 through various initiatives including our annual golf day, donations from refurbishments and even a skydive. Last year over 50 of us took part and the year before we were named Challenge Team of the Year by the charity. Unfortunately, this year, the Sunrise Walk which would be taking place on 31st May cannot go ahead this will result in a significant loss of donations to the charity
